ii. We teach that both aspects of the Gospel must be equally taught and understood if we are to present a Biblically balanced perspective of these truths. Therefore, J2K Ministries does not claim to adhere firmly to the finer points of Calvinist or Arminian Theology regarding the Gospel. We acknowledge the difficulty of this position and are willing to allow this apparent dichotomy to stand in favor of adhering to a Biblical understanding of election, God’s sovereignty, and man’s responsibility, while allowing those of differing beliefs on these topics to have freedom to serve within J2K Ministries.
i. We believe and teach that, out of deep gratitude for the undeserved grace of God granted to us, and because our glorious God is so worthy of our total consecration, all the saved should live in such a manner as to demonstrate our adoring love to God and so as not to bring reproach upon our Lord and Savior. We also teach that separation from all religious apostasy and worldly and sinful practices is commanded of us by God (Romans 12:1-2, 1 Corinthians 5:9-13; 2 Corinthians 6:14-7:1; 1 John 2:15-17; 2 John 9-11).
E. The Church
l. We believe and teach that while the miraculous gifts may not be given today as they were to the Apostles, we understand that God can and does choose to work in miraculous ways to perform His will, and that it is biblically inaccurate to teach that miracles no longer occur. We should not be quick to discount miracles as the works of Satan without applying Biblical principles of discernment to each case in order to avoid attributing the works of the Holy Spirit to the work of Satan.
o. We deny that an “angelic” language of unintelligible sounds is taught or evidenced in Scripture.
